Gifty (قائمة الهدايا) is operated from Amman, Jordan. Use this page to request deletion of your account and related personal data, as required for transparency on Google Play.
How to request account deletion
Send an email from the address you use with Gifty (if applicable) to:
Subject line (recommended): "Gifty account deletion request"
Include in your message:
- The phone number registered on your Gifty account (required so we can verify identity).
- Any additional detail that helps us locate your account (for example, display name).
We may reply to confirm your identity before processing deletion. After verification, we will delete or anonymize your account and associated personal data as described below.
What we delete
After your request is verified, we aim to delete or irreversibly anonymize:
- Your profile and account credentials associated with that phone number.
- Wishlists, saved preferences, and in-app content tied to your user ID where technically possible.
- Address book or contact imports processed for app features, if stored for your account.
What we may keep (and why)
Some information may be retained for a limited time where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons, for example:
- Order and payment records — retained only as long as necessary to meet accounting, tax, or dispute obligations, then deleted or anonymized according to our policies and applicable law.
- Aggregated or anonymised analytics — data that cannot reasonably identify you may be kept.
Timing
We will confirm receipt of your request where appropriate and process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or exceptional circumstances (we will inform you if so).
Partial data deletion (without closing your account)
If you need specific data corrected or removed but want to keep your account, mention that in your email and we will assist where possible. There is no separate in-app form for partial deletion at this time; requests are handled by email.
